it's a REALLY odd curve, but not unreasonable. What I don't know (and perhaps a stats person can clear this up for me) is what those translate into with marks - which (judging by the difference between you and L. and your GPA might be rather tight).

What really bugs me is the moderately high stdDev on the exam. Just listening to the numbers we've been hearing from people (and what the associated mark was), it seems a bit high - though that might also be due to the exam average being so low. I would be interested to know what the actual histogram is for the exam that generated that stddev - though again, perhaps I'm just misinterpreting stddev....
