Frantic Antics by the Neighbours from Hell
Nov. 5th, 2004 09:48 pmHere I am drinking water from my new engineering logo beer mug and admiring the velvet pouch that comes with the engineering logo stainless steel travel mug I just bought today (overpriced), and the neighbours act up again. They've definitely got guys over this time, dancin'. (For goodness' sake, go to a club if you want to dance!!!) Don't know if they've been drinking, but probably. (Another reason they should go to a club.)
It's not nearly as late yet, but on Night of Hell, the hostess had said that she'd close the shutters on their window to minimize the noise, so today I go down to the common room and see if their shutters were closed. They weren't, so I stuck my hand out ever so slightly and pushed the one shutter I could reach and it slammed shut. Immediately after that I slammed my set of shutters closed as well. From the other side of the wall I could hear a guy yell out the (still open, since I only closed one of their shutters) window, "hey!" followed by rapping on the emergency (only) door between our apartments and "who are you?!" followed by a resuming of their partying and dancing.
Haha. Lucky for you, Neighbours, I'm going to an anti-party (study) party at Chinese David's in a few minutes. We arranged this beforehand. We're not loud so we don't have neighbours slamming shutters on us. In fact we're so good we can confine our party to not the common room, but one cramped bedroom.
