It has been a long time since I last taped up my finger. I really need something more sturdy, like a brace you'd purchase from a drugstore, but it is not cheap!

I don't have a way to help people understand why I want these things.

I don't want to hurt anybody with them.	I must have a way to destroy my enemies, especially the enemies of justice.
They are to defend me from the enemies within: fear disloyalty, the desire to kill.	They are there because only blood will stop this thirst. Only they can protect me if someone tries to take my body.
With them I feel more confident and in control of myself.	With them I am powerful. I can attack anyone I want, whenever it is necessary.
People won't attack me because I don't look like someone [who's] vulnerable.	People will keep their hands off me because they fear me.
