Rooms [journal]
Aug. 1st, 2004 11:10 pmNapped awkwardly on a couch this afternoon. I think I'm still suffering a little from jet lag, so that's why I didn't make it to the brunch tea this morning, even when Viv decided to run into the room yelling.
Every time I walk into a small bedroom compared to mine (that's most bedrooms) I can't help but mentally measure out how small it is and pondering how much space would be left in my room in residence next year after putting in my bed (which hasn't even been bought yet -- probably waiting until the student IKEA road trip the week before classes). It's always a little depressing, because I think that I'd feel quite cramped in a room just shy of 9x9 feet square.
