Bug bites stopped itching. Got some new ones. Froze in car air-conditioning.
About the silent: I don't like to say "hi" to people; I normally either put my hand up like a wave but without the wave, or bow slightly. I also prefer to do the same bow in place of saying "thank you." To me, the words have become so meaningless from being used as courtesy that actions do them better justice.
To defend and serve justice. To rule and to kill. Those are the ends for which either side of me wants to possess mortal power. In my imagination (for such ability only exists there) there cannot be reached an in-between that is equal. It's one or the other in majority, and I am slightly ashamed to admit that it is often the evil side that has the majority. Evil is very tempting indeed. It is far easier to dream up than much else. Who wouldn't want to imagine what it would be like to do something really bad and get away with it?
