kyrasantaeCrazyfinn wanted to know what I thought of my performance at the Christmas party last night compared to the one at the Legislature the week previous.
It was better this time, I said. I hit all of the notes properly, if not quite perfectly; I followed the breath marks on my score better so I didn't run out of breath; but most importantly, there was no pain, no dread hanging like a stone from my heart.
