Logistical nightmare

kyrasantaeSo this is turning into a logistical nightmare on a scale I haven't worked with before - I suppose that's not really saying anything as I really haven't had to deal with logistics much - so I understand my father telling me that he's letting me figure out how to buy airfares and stuff on my own so that I have experience doing stuff like this.
It appears that the rent period for my accommodation begins Sunday and ends Saturday; and I would probably not be the first to suggest that arriving there *on* Sunday, unpacking in a haze, not having the slightest idea where things are on campus, only to go to classes the next day is not the best idea. I'd rather arrive in Jyväskylä in the afternoon or something like that.
Therefore I propose to fly on Friday [16. May] (neatly avoiding the 'epic primal scream heard across the Atlantic' issue) and arrive Saturday - leaving me needing a place to spend the night in Hel (I am looking at you, ![[info]](https://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
fakiiri - DLS already has guests (probably other DLSes) that weekend)...
