Durned Linguistics Student is a pretty damn amazing watercolour painter, even at 4AM.

I warmed up, and then I tried, but I must concede to his greatness. I'm more of the acrylic painting type, methinks.

Have you taken a watercolor class? I finally did a couple of years ago - and learned the techniques are very different than for acrylics.

BTW, I like your subjects, composition, and use of color.

Let's see... let's just say that the only fine art in which I've actually taken any lessons in technique is piano ;)
