Ich habe Kopfschmerzen :(

When your lab TA tells you, after you've already started, to do the separatory funnel washing of whatever the liquid product of that CCl₄ + (CH₃CH₂O)₂P(O)H + (CH₃)₃CNH₂ reaction is in the fume hood, go do it in the fume hood. Just do it. Go.

Because despite pointing the tip of the funnel away from me when I was releasing the pressure build-up in it, I must have breathed in the fumes and now I have a really really bad headache (or it could have been from the tert-butylamine, since that smells bad too - but I did the reaction in the fume hood). Well, I've had it since I finished my lab just before lunch this morning. It feels like I've banged my forehead several times against an iron fencepost.

I don't want to risk developing a resistance to acetaminophen, so I don't take any Tylenol until I absolutely can't hold up with the pain anymore... but yeah I finally took some right now and it's been like half an hour and it's still no better :(
