Early afternoon, on Robson Street... a young Asian man walks amid the tourists, spray bottle of glue and stack of posters in hand. He goes from lamp post to lamp post... and his Dragonforce t-shirt says it all.
"Retrofire," the posters read (or something like that). "Vancouver's epic rock... August 28... 7:30pm..." (or was it tonight?)... "a cross between Iron Maiden and..."
It was all I could read as I walked by down the street in the opposite direction of the postering man.
Who will find for us a place to play?
Who will glue our posters to lonely lamp posts and who will read them?
And what will those posters look like?
