Every night, I'm not tired anymore. I never seem to get tired, except in the mornings. And then at night, I sit around idly, combing my hair or picking off the dried skin on my feet, not knowing what to do, or what to think about. I'm just so bored out of my wits.

This is simply because I've got a new (real life) notebook for my diary, but my LJ will now have its title changed from Muutoksen Vastustaminen - Resisting Change to this new one (look up and see it for yourself. Translation is on my userinfo page, as the subtitle).

I'm still annoyed at the fact that I still don't want to sleep.

  • City blocks here are a LOT bigger than they are back home. Maybe about twice the size.
  • To get to Safeway is 7 blocks south of the south end of HUB on 112th St., then across 3 blocks east on 82nd Ave. (Whyte) to 109th St.
  • The closet used bookstore is on 103rd St. at Whyte. That's another 6 blocks east past Safeway. It's past a Chapters.
  • Walking there takes around 20 minutes of continuous shuffling of feet. Then there's walking back.
  • It will give you little water blisters on the balls of your feet if you do said walking in sandals.
  • You might as well take the bus if you want to go to the bookstore. Route 4, not in the West Ed. direction (Capilano) goes along there. So does route 106.
  • They should let you open the package of markers and try them right after you buy them, at the counter, in case one of them doesn't work at all when you take them out at home to try them.
  • Be sure you have a bowl big enough to serve noodles with salad on top before you decide not to cook the vegetables.
  • Some blisters never seem to completely drain out.
