Antonuk ruined my day.
Jan. 28th, 2004 11:00 pmAgain.
Not that I've actually seen her the past 6 or 7 weeks (however long it's been since freedom), but she just had to show up as the head examiner today (the head examiner is the one out of all the supervising teachers who reads the instructions and calls out the time remaining). I think she already saw me before the exam when I was hanging out with my chem teacher just outside the gym (exam hall), but it wasn't until I was getting up to leave after the exam that our eyes locked and she smiled (which creeped me out) at me. I smiled back of course. It wasn't her evil grin smile though, yet I can't accurately describe it due to obvious biases.
She ruined my day because she really distracted me from my exam. It's really hard to find what you're looking for on the reduction potentials table when your eyes keep trying to watch where she's going, hoping that she's not going to stop by your desk and have a little head-to-head talk. I guess I'm just too nervous over nothing. I feel sorry for those students whose person in front of them was absent; there were times when she'd sit on top of that empty desk and stare down the row at the students. Or that time when she made everyone jump out of their seats when she abruptly called out, in her oh-so-sweet voice, "ladies and gentlemen, you have 1 hour. 60 minutes!" She's so loud she doesn't even need a microphone.
Actually it was better the first half of the exam because she wandered mostly around the other side of the room. Then she started coming over to my side of the room and you know when that happens even if you're busy with your calculator because you can smell her distinctive perfume. Not that it's very strong or anything, it's just one of those distinctive traits of her presence.
On second thought, since I left before time was up (we're allowed to do that), I was somewhat trying to coincide my exit with her passing by my row...
I wonder, if we are on good looking terms, are we also on good speaking terms with each other?
