(no subject)

It's too easy to lose hope now...all this betrayal and falsity and obfuscation leaves little space for trust. I can't trust those who don't tell me exactly what they want of me so they can blame me for doing it wrong. I can't trust those who overgeneralize and end up lying about my peoples. I cannot defend myself with my words, I cannot defend myself with my hands and legs. What do I protect myself with? Because I must fight to retain this hope which took me so long to earn.
