Real Work - Ten (Thousand) Years of Dust

I thought I wouldn't have to open boxes today; the renovations supervisor originally assigned me to help clean the floors *under* some shelves in the store. It's probably not actually 10 years worth of dust but at least 7. Mmmm, papers caked onto the floor under gunk. After sneezing through a lot of dust and some chemical cleaner, I joked about running home to grab my bandanna at break. I'm just really not a fan of industrial-ish stuff. Like face masks and gloves.
Anyway, along with the two other new guys, it didn't seem like they really needed my help, and the stocking manager seems to have this thing with giving me 'less strenuous' work or something, so she dumped me in Toys once again.
I'm really starting to hate Toys. Because there was another friggin' pallet's worth of summer toys, along with two pallet's worth of new products I wasn't supposed to open, and then a couple pallets of other stuff. These were originally all mixed up. I sorted these into separate pallets by the categories above, so that the next time these pallets come out, it's not so annoying.
I have a rant about the recent ubiquitousness of cheap musical instruments and other rock star-ish toys and stuff, but I don't really want to get into it. Let's just say that in my younger days, if you wanted to learn an instrument, you either got yourself the real thing and learned to play it or you kept it in your head and played pretend. But not something halfway in between.
