(See way down below for newer recording)

I really do, because I hate trying to transcribe three-part harmony in my head, and trying to mix it so I can cover up the left-over harmonies from removing the main vocals in the track. Thus, some of the harmonies are a bit overpowering.

It's a bit out of tune in places. It's also not as good as CMB ('Beaten to Life') in my opinion.

*includes a bonus subtle nod to a Within Temptation song!

The Fine Print:
So over in the NW-forum, in the thread about their latest DVD, there's been some people ranting about how Tarja breathes practically every other word on Sleeping Sun, and that a singer like her shouldn't have to do that. Well, from what I heard, she was sick when she did that concert, but anyway, I've demonstrated 'breathing after every other word' here. Though they're much longer notes and I'm not trained, so I guess I have an excuse.

Also, there were rants on Tarja's onstage antics (love em or hate em, both sides represented). Sorry guys, but if I'm ever going to put on a gig, I'm not gonna go all-out-metal-head-thingy on ya. I mean, I can headbang a bit, but I'm not gonna make it a show like that. Nor am I gonna dance silly during interludes in songs. I'll dance normally, the way I usually do, thank you very much. Someone commented on how they don't like how Sharon den Adel doesn't do much on stage but wave her hands around in front of her. Well, too bad, that's what *I* do when I sing. Right now, anyway. The point being, I would never put on a show like that just because that's what's associated with a particular type of music. Hate me for it if you wish. Thank you.

Oh, and on an almost unrelated note, someone in this hall was practicing the clarinet this afternoon. It's nice to know that there's someone else who understands the niceness of practicing in their own room.

Additionally: The real reason I did the two epics (CMB, GLS). Uh...I'm not sure if I really could do Beauty of the Beast, but I guess I could try someday. It obviously isn't in 'vogue' yet.

Edit: I fixed the most extremely out of tune parts. Here it is. Just remembered from choir: Fatigue brings about loss of pitch.
