What NOT to do when someone tells you to quiet down:

Oh my f***ing gosh. (That's an implied profanity alert, folks.)

For the record, the Chinese subtitles in that video are almost a word-to-word transcription of the dialogue (including bits that can't be written in Chinese characters), while the English subtitles are as good as English subtitles get coming out of HK (you'd be surprised if I told you that they're actually quite accurate - which they are).

But yeah... we're not all rude like that.

I must say, I'm rather proud of myself for understanding the majority of the altercation without the subtitular distractions. Can't say I'm at all surprised, though... I think Hong Kong is inherently a loud and crowded place, and I don't imagine a scene like that is too far out of the ordinary. The last time I was there, I witnessed two seniors physically fighting each other for a seat on the metro.
