Wow....English exam

"A friend is considering transferring into Engineering at the university. Write an essay to persuade her to reconsider." (500 words)
I think my professor thought it'd be a challenging topic for the students (the other topics were definitely challenging in that the point you're asked to argue is against the 'usual' sentiment), but little did she know...
Bit of a slow start, but I dove right into it. I think I probably wrote more like 800 words in an hour and a half. Could have written more, but I didn't want to get too lyrical and poetic at the end. I was this -> || close to crying when I got to the end.
I asked my professor for a photocopy of my essay; when I get it I'll post it.
