In which Kyrasantae speaks Finnish...
Apr. 21st, 2006 05:35 pm(...or some brutal mutilation of it. You decide.)
"Greetings to you: Tuomas, Marco, Jukka, and Emppu. I want to let you know, from the bottom of my heart, that I have only the utmost respect for you and everything that you do, and that I wish to thank you all for this opportunity of a lifetime. This is my humble gift to you." (0.95MB)
(You'll find the Finnish text here. Can you believe it? I did approximately 15 takes of this stupid reading. And yes, that's me on the piano in the background.)
*sigh*
Finnish is pretty.
P.S. There *was* an even better take, but then I realized I read "kaikkea" as "kaikkia", annnnnnnnnnd had to do it all over again.

Date: 2006-04-22 06:48 am (UTC)I didn't notice the extra 'h's at all, silly aspirated consonants. I know I already naturally tone down the p/t/k consonants so that they aren't spit out in English style. Maybe I'm too conscious about not spitting the 't's and that's what's causing it.
