Rumbling

Almost every weekday morning at 7AM, I'm awoken by an extended (about 40 minute) stint of the beeping and rumbling of backing-up garbage trucks / semi-trailers. This renders me either: grumpy so I close the window and fall asleep again (therefore missing class since my latest alarm goes off at 7AM), or (when I don't have class) to wake up and stay up. Usually my room is very stuffy all day even with the window and door open, and closing them in the morning just makes it worse especially when the sun is shining directly into my window and I have to keep the curtains shut so my posters don't get bleached.

Today not only were the trucks there, there were a couple of guys with leaf-blowers clearing the dust off the sidewalks. Now that's just irritating.

I could kill the person who invented leaf-blowers. Those things are the source of all evil.
