Just listening to the recording from the 2003 UAMC spring concert. Wow, uh... if you don't mind me saying, they really really butcher the Titanic musical selections. "In every age" and "Lady's maid" were way too slow and "Godspeed Titanic" needs to be a tad faster and without drums - it's not a fanfare...I think "Doing the latest rag" is the only one that sounds right... with regards to tempo. As a whole it's too rhythmically straight.
(And before anyone goes on a freaking rampage over whether I have the qualification to make those statements, I have the original Broadway cast recording of the musical. The only reason why I bought this CD was to see how well UAMC sings it. So there.)
