I totally couldn't call that home.

So
forgottenlord says that he's happy that I went over to Lister. But I tell ya, despite what he likes to say about how it's great to live there - and I think there's aspects of that I can agree with, but I can't stand the bad murals on the walls (and the fact that kids do drink a lot on more occasions than they should), but I guess the mural on 6 Mac that's the spoof of the Pilsner beer logo is okay; it's well-executed, except that it's a beer logo. Oh yeah, and also the way from the main entrance to the tunnels to individual towers is kinda, whoa, totally not a logical straight line. And the murals in the tunnel suck too.
I wouldn't say he won the whole 'yes you will come visit someday' / 'no I'm never setting foot in there' battle, since it was partly because I didn't want him to have to walk all the way over to my place every time he wanted to work with me (and maybe he has resources that I don't have, like old notes and stuff). The other part was that I didn't want to have to feel like there was no help for me closeby since I've been feeling so down lately and being able to spend more time with a person with who I can discuss personal issues is always good.
So it's sort of like me using the urgency clause - that if you really need something done really soon (in this case, homework and cheering up/deep(er) discussion), then you just have to do it (the urgency clause does not exist under some conditions: IF weekend==true OR EnggWeek==true OR party==true OR anythingPrideEvent==true THEN UrgencyClauseInvokable==false ELSE UrgencyClauseInvokable==true).
Anyway, I basically ended up cooking KD for him (again!) because he doesn't know what to do if you accidentally measure out a wee bit too much milk (leave the pot with pasta and milk in it on the heat a bit longer until the liquid boils down to desired level). Gotta learn to improvise a bit, peoples!
I wanted to catch a tiny bit of a nap while he went to play dodgeball with his team, but I ended up feeling weirded out by the whole place a bit so I just stayed up and talked to Branimir on MSN.
Anyway, I kinda forgot to bring my calculus notebook (again!) with me so I didn't have any notes to work from, but we did go over how to do a section of the questions on my homework, which is now due on Fridays.
From all the walking I have to do in general (around campus, to the grocery store, etc.), the skin on the soles of my feet are getting tougher, especially on the heels. I hope that one day my heels won't have skin as hard as a rock like my mom's feet.
I'm tired - gotta go to bed.

forgottenlord, I think you're underestimating the amount of help I need!

Lies? Lies? How in the world can you possibly think that HUB is better than Lister :P
