Branimir says that it's a Croatian superstition that if you give knives as gifts you get bad luck, so when you get a knife as a gift you always have to pay the giver something back, no matter how little.

If that is true,

and i'm buying like $100 worth of cds for phed [Finnish ibscrewed guy] for his $100 worth of knife....does that mean i'll actually receive it?

The ENGG 130 exam royally screwed us over. It was nothing like anything we had seen on review papers, past exam papers, or whatnot. Not only that: we wrote it in the Butterdome, which is the HUGE gymnasium, and it was -20°C or something outside, so it was freezing cold inside, as if it were Siberia Vladic's house1. Maybe even worse. Lots of students wore hoodies (maybe they knew it would be cold in there), but I was just in a shirt and pants and I felt completely frozen. I'm only confident on the answer to the last question (out of 4). Maybe the 3rd question too. But that's it. I mucked around with some wrong numbers for the other two, I know it, and I didn't even finish the second question.

=====

And for those who missed it:

I got 73% on my SOC exam, bringing my score up to a 65.9% final, which I'm not sure is a C- or a C since 66% is a C. couple day late edit: grade posted is a C+. Hmmmm

I got a B+ in chem, which makes me very happy (79% on the exam).

Physics was a disaster. I couldn't get anywhere on all but one of the long answer problems, and the one I did get to a point where I could put numbers in and use my calculator was the one where I couldn't seem to get a right answer out. Also I had to guess on quite a number of the short answer questions too. I haven't got my score back from it though, and it makes me worried just thinking about it.

1Siberia Vladic was this guy I worked with in grade 5 on a computer programming project. Only he had a computer capable of doing it, so every time we needed to work on it I would go to his place. He's Russian, and I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, and I don't even know if he's from Siberia, but his house was always so cold! I think the thermostat was set at 18°C or something. And when I asked his mother if she could turn it up a bit since I was always getting a runny nose, she complained that she'd roast like a chicken in an oven if she did turn it up! Not only that, she always insisted on keeping me for dinner, which involved raw onions (which I hated back then), even if I told her that my family had a prior engagement with a relative for dinner or something. Anyway, Siberia Vladic has gone on to become a genius, unlike me, (just google his name - Vladislav Lavrovsky - for some results) for his research involving something to do with enzymes and hydrocarbons.

Neat superstition. Never heard of it though. Sorry you froze, when we took tests we did it in the gym, but the gym was like always the hottest place to take it. I hope you did good on it though. Congratz on your chem, I would have been lucky if I pulled off anything above a C, so be happy! About your 'Siberian' friend and what not.

Ok, bye! *waves*
Btw, This is 'Krakhis' from IBScrewed.net...
I won't comment anymore on here if you don't want :P
