My roomies took everything in the recyclables/returnables bin and dumped it all into the .... recycling dumpster. Including all of the pop cans and juice boxes. Which was a lot of money in deposit returns(yep, it adds up) down the drain.
So I brought a few more cardboard boxes up and labeled them clearly: PAPER, RETURNABLES (bottles, cans, juice boxes and bottles), and TIN CANS AND OTHER STUFF (like glass and milk jugs and cartons).
I hope we don't any more wastage of our hard-earned money. My parents would go ballistic if they found out about this. Then again, I'm going ballistic too.
