Dammit. just lost my post.
Sep. 1st, 2004 05:29 pmOkay, I had this post all typed up but then I hit the wrong button and it died.
My Japanese roommate has been there for a while, probably all summer. She's from Japan. I haven't met my other roommates in person either, but I'm sure I'll see them tonight. My room is on the top floor of the flat on the third floor out of three floors, so there's a lot of stairs to climb and my sister's guaranteed that one day I'll fall down the stairs to the living room on the lower floor of the flat, and I'll walk into one of the glass panels in the lobby of Rutherford Library. My room is small, but comfortably small. It's got a nice view of downtown-ish.
There's free ice cream at the HUB Community Association (HCA) (aka the recreation room) tonight. It's BYOBS. Bring your own bowl and spoon.
International Baccalaureate is also BYOBS. Bring your own bullshit.
There's a piano at HCA too, but from what I overheard whilst getting my keys from there, there will certainly be fights for it.
The internal computer system at Telus was down today so I couldn't hook up my phone line and place an order for ADSL internet. In the meantime I'll try to hook up my computer to the wireless internet in residence tonight. I don't really want to rely on wireless internet though, because obviously my traffic and bandwidth would be monitored and maybe certain ports closed.
