My haircut

I hate my haircut. Compare it to my grad photos. I don't like how the front is too short; I wanted the front bits to be left long so that I could put them behind my ear. Maybe that's the thing with Asian stylists; if you just tell them to chop it short they'll do it fine but if you give them any more detail (I wanted it to sorta form a v-shape at the back like Antonuk) then they'll come up with some fob-ish style that I don't like (because I don't like fob things). I mean, it's an okay cut, but it doesn't quite fit my bill for 'comfortable hair that keeps my neck protected and is not a contemporary look.'

In other news, it was this knife I got on Tuesday. It was somewhat overpriced, but with things like this I don't have the opportunity to be picky over where I buy it. (And [livejournal.com profile] sunnyleo, if you were wondering, that's what the 'nice paragraph' below was about.)

Edited tomorrow: But it's all so tempting; now I really want the one that I originally wanted (the mid-sized one on this picture) but they didn't have at Sunridge the other time. They had it at Chinook (where I went on Tuesday) too, but it was more expensive by about 2 dollars, and I really didn't feel like it, when there were so many other pretty knives on display! Either way, I still really want it because it's a military-style combat knife, it's got the whole capability for the quick draw/slash/stab/kill thing :P

Eeeee, when did the Market Mall House of Knives reopen?! It's back!? AAAAAgh should have gone there! They'd have it!!
