I'm at my parents' house this week. I'm really happy to be getting a break from the construction noise and the uncomfortably warm room and teaching and stuff, and they're feeding me -- which is fantastic,...
...but I'm gonna be spending most of the week lesson planning. My mentor teacher gave me a few more details on what classes he's expecting me to teach, and the tests I'm expected to give out. But that's it. Fortunately I've secured the assistance of the other science student teacher, who is doing her final practical and so she knows what she's doing and has more resources that I can use.
Edit: I actually spent the week doing anything but planning. I drew out calendar grids, numbered them, and left them on my floor, with absolutely no desire to do anything with them.
