Jul. 23rd, 2008 10:54 amI seem to have overlooked something in my original calculations for completing my proposed Education major (Chemistry) requirements - these were the calculations I made two years ago and have guided my entire program since.
NOTE TO SELF: I DON'T HAVE CHEM 263 (ORGANIC CHEM II). I don't know why it's checked off on my notes.
One solution would be to take that course in the "Enrichment term" of the Education program, but I'd really like to avoid taking O-chem altogether... I'm finished with labs, and reaction mechanisms still make absolutely no sense to me.
But if I decide to enter under a Physical Sciences major instead, then I'm only missing a modern physics course, which would be far more bearable... even if a little math-heavy, and I seem to have fared fine in thermal physics last term even with the over-competitive Engineering Physics students.
I'll also need to do the Science/Technology/Society elective in the enrichment term, anyway. I can't find a way to fit it into my timetable right now.
