I never claimed to be perfect,
Instead the opposite.
But do we not all aspire to heaven?

Remember me when the shadows fall
On you and it seems like
The world has forgotten your existence.
When every word I uttered
Was no more a vindication of that existence
than your silence like,
"That is not what I meant, at all."

There are days when we chase our memories
And silent cries for help go unheard
And untranquil visions become the only reality
That poisoned minds question unanswered.

And I know you too know this pain.
It is not a pain that can be reasoned
Into submission. This, too, shall pass.
And I know you too feel this pain.
