Waiting for the Snow

The weather has nothing to do with it, but I feel so cold inside that I'm shivering.

Despite that, I don't suppose I'm too far from the truth if I were to say that Finnish love is a ... cold kind of embrace, not a warm one.

Right now I'd rather snow cover me.

So tell me, why is it so hard to just go through the motions? To so many people, it's doing more than just going through the motions that is difficult (for example the popular advice "fake it til you make it").
