o.o? Maybe it's my application for the Jason Lang award coming through?

Noooooo... deadline hasn't passed yet.

And I haven't even applied for the other undergrad academic awards because the application form hasn't worked all summer...

So I open up my account on Bear Tracks and ...

A German Government Book Prize for Excellence in Beginners and Intermediate German

To be awarded annually to one student enrolled in each section of GERM 111 and in each section of GERM 112 (Beginner's German) and one student enrolled in each section of GERM 211 and in each section of GERM 212 (Intermediate German) with superior academic achievement. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing in GERM 111, GERM 112, GERM 211, and GERM 212.

Well, um, okay. I guess I'll accept the award; can't go wrong with a book...

(I received a German book from my German 10 teacher in high school also... same sort of reason...)
