So apparently

the M:tG card I painted in response to DLS's "Scroll of Randomness" card is "fucking awesome". And it wasn't him who said that. ;)

Most frustrating observation ever.

For both this year and last year, the usual venue for the year-end Beergardens (namely, Quad) has been snowed out (i.e. it's still soggy and wet), so they've moved it to some parking lot.

In both cases they decide to move it to the parking lot that I normally walk through to get to/from home.

(For the unaware, I don't like being in the proximity of beergardens for two reasons - a lot of people drinking a lot of overpriced crappy beer for no good reason, and live bands playing. The reasons have been covered to death in other places on this LJ so I won't elaborate here.)

Last year I had an appointment at a party right after class, so I just brought everything I needed (costume and props and all) to class so I didn't have to go home to get stuff - but this year I can't do this on Thursday (Friday is okay because I'm finished with class long before the bands start playing - and that factor has a larger radius of effect than groups of people drinking).

I can't pull off that sort of stunt on Thursday this year because my classes don't end until 2PM and I need to be home because Otto is visiting and I need to be at home. Or something. I'm blabbering again.

Why does the weather always make this happen?

And more importantly, why are the Beergardens following me?
