For the sake of "keeping all applications from this uni together," at the request of the exchange coordinator, I've turned my forms in to her to mail off *next week* when I could have put them in the mail today (and they would have arrived in Finland by the time *she* puts the lot in the mail). Gah. I even had the envelope all addressed and ready to go (except for postage, phew).

And those who have received mail from me know that I usually spend about 5 minutes neatly writing an address on an envelope in something a bit more special than plain block print.

And if my email from last week to Finland had gotten through the queue yesterday instead of today I would have even mailed it *yesterday*, before the coordinator's request. So there.

>_<

P.S. The bank teller and I had a marvelous time discussing words that aren't English, what to do with them, and how translating "Jyväskylän yliopiston ylioppilaskunta" (U./Jy. Students' Union) into English doesn't actually solve any problems regarding non-English characters. She ended up doing it in English anyway; hope that doesn't cause any problems. It's kind of a lot of money.

P.P.S. And then *running*, I repeat, *running*, to the Students' Union Building to make photocopies of my forms (for my own records), and then *running* to German class to give a presentation at the top of the hour.
