2. Once you have done this, I will reply by asking you five personal questions.
3. Update your LJ with the questions and their answers.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. Complete the cycle when someone comments on your entry by asking them five questions in a reply.
rpmullan asks:
1. What are some posters or pictures that you keep in your bedroom/office that mean the most to you, and why?
I've got lots of stuff on the walls of my room, but it's not the posters that are significant to me (and there actually aren't that many posters). There's the Finnish flag (and Dutch flag) that I made, for obvious reasons. And this painting, which I really don't want to explain because it hurts.
2. What crazy thing have you done that you're surprised you got away with?
My definition of "crazy things" doesn't include stupid things (e.g. things people do while drunk), but I think it was pretty crazy and surprising to get a "C" in a class in which I hardly did any of the assignments and didn't know how to do 80% of the final exam. I guess that's getting away with not knowing anything? (BTW this was ChemE Thermodynamics - not to be confused with MatE, Chemical, or Physics thermodynamics, which I've all taken (well, Physics right now) and in essence are really the same sort of thing but with different emphasis.)
3. What thing(s) in 2008 are you planning to do that you have not done before?
Easy one. Go to Finland.
Oh, and FINALLY transfer to Faculty of Science so I don't have to talk to that awful associate dean guy ever again.
4. What movie, TV shows, animated shorts, etc. do you like so much that you cannot resist showing them to friends who haven't seen them?
For some unknown reason, I love showing Pahat Pojat to my friends, and it's not really such a great movie, nor is it an art movie (which would better represent my tastes), but I think maybe it's the awesome soundtrack. My copy of it's also been corrupted (fortunately right at the very ending) so now I need to find my earlier copy and see if that's okay. :(
I've also got a bit of that "artist's ego" so I also like to show them the short film I was in.
5. What person or people have had the most impact on your life? How and/or why?
I'll credit:
* Antonuk for solidifying my stance as a pacifist,
* JZeteen (sp? it's been a really long time) for sending me my first Finnish songs,
* My ex-"bf" for helping me through some difficult times (school and personal stuff), and
* "Theiyonus" for some inexplicable and still mostly unknown reason
