Running movie commentary

"Laitakaupungin Valot" is such a deviation from any of the other 4 Aki Kaurismäki movies I've seen, that I just *had* to do a running commentary on my MSN subnick. It also wasn't as...funny. I was kinda disappointed but amused.

• *cue requisite "guy gets beat up by drunk guys" part*

• If you pass out after drinking coffee, you've clearly been drugged
  
• Stupidest heist ever
  
• That's a kinda long and convoluted way to set someone up to be fired
  
• Dude, that's NOT how you frame someone for the crime
  
• Way to kick someone while they're down
  
• *cue dark and stormy night*
  
• This entire movie is about how to make a miserable person's life even MORE miserable.
  
• Meanwhile back at the gang headquarters...
  
• Prison break...ish!
  
• Loser is as loser does
  
• Don't leave your food unattended at a homeless shelter
  
• You! What are YOU doing here!?
  
• Only emos are allowed to cut themselves
  
• I'm going to KEEEEEEEEL you!
  
• Requisite kick while he's down [after requisitely beating him up and leaving him by the docks]
  
• The brown kid speaking Finnish is amusing

Pieces I *have* to do

This will be a list of pieces I absolutely totally should cover with my (hypothetical) future band.

• Pirates of the Caribbean theme, movie credits version
  
• Titan Quest theme, rock version (seriously, discard the cheesy vocalizations. I don't even know what it says, though I'm guessing it's Greek seeing as the theme has lyrics in Ancient Greek)
