Jun. 26th, 2005 10:40 pmLaws are human constructions. If one is to evaluate the "equivalence" of two drugs, legality should not be the evaluating criteria in determining "equivalence." Instead consider their effects, since that cannot be changed at the whim of humans.
And by the way - just because it's legal doesn't mean you are free to use as much as you want.

Reality denies us many possibilities...and then some experiences will never be known - and likewise with the unwritten rules of society.

And no one shall be pressured into inebriation, and more importantly, (not that the first is not important,) no one shall be pressured by chance into inebriation, regardless of his consent.
He who has tried it may enjoy it, but it makes it no more acceptable - hypothetically if I tried it and found it enjoyable, it would not change my mind because, as I have already said, it doesn't make the activity acceptable.

I have little to show for what I have done, but what I have done has not made me more, but has made me less. So less that simple thigs can't bail me out of it. I may long for them, but no matter how much of it I have, it doesn't make me feel any better.

There's nothing wrong with altruism, but it doesn't suit me if you don't define it. We've all learned that achievable goals should best be specific, so you know when you have succeeded. I will know when I have seen the land of my people. Likewise, I will know when I have turned someone back from the dark side and the poison that torments me.

You are asking me for an answer, I will give you an answer. Not any more than what you ask for.

We may be inhuman without fear, but we cannot fear for what impressions we make - that is, do not be false so that you give a good impression. Show your understanding. Show what you know and believe. Situations that require a lie are fewer than is believed.
