I was in a perfectly good mood to, um, destroy lots of people today. Let's put it this way:
The latter two items were extremely full, full with people of all (legal) ages - more middle-agers though - and barechested men. (Is it just me, or do men treat tattoos as clothing?)
One stand was selling some decorative swords, and another had a handful of folding knives. But with my dad over my shoulder and not carrying any cash on myself, I wasn't in a position to examine.
In total I walked over 40 blocks in sandals today (we parked at 4th and 4th, and it goes down 4th Street from 12th to ~26th Avenue). That means there's some skin peeling off my left pinky toe, which hurt when I was walking, but since the skin was already dried out by the time I got home, I'm fine now.
I'm removing commenting from this post. I don't want any more stupid arguments over the motivation behind drinking.

- 12 city blocks
- several 10000s of people
- 5 beer gardens
- a similar number of pubs with extended patios
