Sleep. [journal]
Jul. 27th, 2004 11:15 pmI can just imagine my brain turning into gray mush. I tried a drop of tequila and although it's no stronger than anything else I've tried, it's as close as it gets to the whole isopropanol smell. Then again, I've had beer twice in the last few days (not enough to get close to feeling dizzy) too.
(P.S. My book has finally unwarped itself. It's actually a pressure and humidity change thing. Completely reversible.)
Today I thought about sleep. If you sleep but it does not rest you, then have you still slept? How can we measure how much time passes within a dream? What happens when you are not awoken naturally, how does it affect the amount of rest you get?
