I'm extremely tired of this history class discussion about the following:
- why is sovereignty kept by force or by threat of force? (because people are impatient)
- is war ever unjustified? (most of the time it is, actually)
- is war inevitable? (only so because people are impatient and not open to ideas)
- what qualities make a good soldier? (the rejection of: life as a virtue, and control of one's own mind)
- what sets apart a soldier from a civilian? (see above; also tendency to be unbalanced towards hostility, as are those who initiate wars)
- What would you die for?
^-tougher question than the one below it -- remember "sinä elät kuolemanpelossa" ["you live in fear of death"]
(to show that ability is born, not bred, that which is bred is not ability)
(the glory of Finland and the Netherlands)
- what would you kill for?
(see above)
(to satiate the demon I nurture -- if in the event that I can no longer keep it in its cage)
(preservation of my own life)
(preservation of my liberty)
(preservation of my secrets -- the big important ones)

I will never mention my answers in class. The are generally thought to be too "simplistic" and "not defended by evidence."
