Real Work - Short Notice

me: because i'm so confused
mdejong: why is that?
me: no one's showing me any procedures or anything
i have no idea what the lingo means
and everyone there is an immigrant and speaks crappy english
mdejong: you have to make it up as you go? wow...
me: i'm just there watching, putting stuff on shelves
mdejong: that can indeed be very confusing
me: but i know nothing about, say, paging people on the intercom or what abbreviations mean or what the expectations are for where overstock goes or anything

At least I have my schedule now. I don't have to go in on Friday and Saturday nights (basically that I have Saturday and Sunday off), since I'm supposedly on some "reno" crew. "Reno" for what, I have no idea, but I'll find out on Sunday night, I guess.

Silly people wanting me to transfer boxes to carts after spending 20 minutes stacking them carefully on a skid >_< ... didn't get off work until 7:45 or so. I want overtime pay! ^_^
