Lister and Food services
Sep. 4th, 2006 02:09 amAside from the obvious interior facelift that main Lister has received (which is good because main Lister no longer screams 1990s! in such a terrible way), one other thing that has changed is that Aramark must have suddenly decided to hitch a ride on the 'social responsibility' bandwagon.
Not only is there a Booster Juice and a new sandwich shelf in the Marina now (I'm guessing in an effort to promote healthy eating? Hahahahaha...not really, when it's STILL so expensive), they've also taken to using paper take-out containers (to reduce waste? But it's not like people recycle greasy take-out boxes anyway...and you know, there's so much non-biodegradable material - like plastic - in landfills that the biodegradables don't biodegrade anyway).
Ummhmm.
P.S. You don't have to order the grill stuff at the cashier first anymore for the Marina. And practically ALL of the new workers there are Chinese. Seriously. And they don't have a clue (yet).
