On writing
Apr. 18th, 2006 01:14 amI often fancy myself a writer, although literature doesn't affect me in the same way that music does.
(There's only one book so far that has actually made me cry, and it wasn't really just a book, it was a manga, so there was visual...stuff there too.)
Yet I still think there is some beauty in my words, and sometimes reading my own writing makes me cry, but often because of what's in it rather than how it's written...occasionally, though, it's both.
(The most recent example of this could be these two linked posts which I've been just LOVING to link to lately - the last four lines of the second post just make me...you know.)
But that is just myself. I do not yet know if any of my words have the same effect on other people. Let me know if they ever do.
