This is what I probably looked like when I started work this morning:This is what I looked like after I got off work:
I kept to making coffee all day because I haven't learned to make sandwiches yet and I really didn't want to work the till because I'm a little deaf in one ear (or so I think) and I hate it when I don't hear an order the first time or when customers don't speak clearly...nor can I figure out which muffin is which (but I can do donuts fine - it's probably because I ate too many of them during ENCMP lectures).

This sucks. Get me out of here!!!!

In other news, I got my computer back on Monday, and it now idles at 42°C! Yay.

Before-bed edit: I still smell like coffee. Next time I shower (tomorrow), I'm giving myself a double-scrubdown.

I didn't know you had a digital camera

Every time I look, that first picture seems to be off for some reason. I just can't put my finger on it....

So that certainly explains why they didn't really care the first time you called - it was idling at 44 then - 2 degrees isn't really "unusual". How's the keyboard doing re: heat release.

It's my over-exaggerated cheery smile, which isn't actually cheery at all, it's more resentful.

My parents have a digital camera. And its focus works. See [livejournal.com profile] fakiiri's comment above as to why it looks off. Actually on Tuesday it idled at 40, even after I played Empire Earth 2 on it for about half an hour. Yesterday it idled at 42 after more EE2 and some messing around with Stronghold 2, which I ended up uninstalling since it takes forever to load up or close.

And even though it's getting just as hot, it doesn't feel quite as hot on the keyboard - not as cool as yours, but still warm. And I can feel warm/hot air coming from the fan. And the bottom of the computer isn't hurting me if I touch it.

You who objected to my playing games have now officially played more games than I have in the time we've been together....

*sighs

Well, I don't actually *play* them, I just run through all the tutorials and if it strikes me as something I feel like fiddling with I'll fiddle for a while. That's all.
